MEET NORD

Nord is about to fucking lose his mind.  He has observed humans build a society that is dependent on science and technology, yet hardly anyone understands anything about science and technology. This little conundrum screwed Nord out of his fantastic work-life balance. In fact, it sent him on a path of self-destruction fueled by Irish whiskey and banquet beer. 

You see, Nord’s life used to be great! He loved his job. It was easy because it was fascinating. The world was making wonderful progress towards becoming an advanced civilization and Nord had zero problems to report to his superiors. But then the unthinkable happened. Humans began to embrace scientific ignorance. 

Throughout the history of the universe no society had ever been observed to reverse course from their scientific discoveries. Nord’s world was simply turned upside down. Needless to say, Nord was stressed the fuck out and he found comfort in booze, bars, and bad decisions.

In a drunken rage, Nord convinced himself that in order to truly enjoy the rest of his career, he would have to cut some corners at work. It made perfect sense to him. However, there was one big fucking problem: the copious amounts of earthlings that don’t know anything about science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM). 

His plan may be unconventional and is about as sketchy as it can get, but Nord has his mind made up. Nevertheless, like many scientific decisions made by nerds, there are often unintended consequences that ripple throughout the earth’s population. The results can cause the public’s support to go through the roof like we saw after the creation of NASA. Or it can splinter off into oblivion fueled by climate skeptics, evolutionary denialist, and critical failures in scientific design. 

Regardless, keep your eyes peeled for Nord’s next NERD ALERT! If you dare, send him a message and let him know what you want to learn about! Just remember, Nord is an obnoxious drunk that is completely out of touch. He may get a little loose with his booze and unsolicited advice, but he means well. Try not to lose your lunch.
